Hughes to Feature SATCOM Technologies at TechNet Land Forces South

TAMPA, Florida -- Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the global leader in broadband satellite solutions and services, today announced its Defense and Intelligence Systems Division (DISD) will participate in TechNet Land Forces South 2012 – Connecting Joint & Coalition Partners for the Next Fight at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida from July 10 through 12. Hughes will be showcasing its global bandwidth efficient satellite communications solutions for military and government in booth number 837.

Hughes will feature bandwidth efficient technologies with enhanced capacity such as the ruggedized HX280 satellite broadband router, which is Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2, Level 2 validated, employs the newly released Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) IPoS-B standard, and Enhanced Signaling Security – a feature that meets transmission security (TRASEC) requirements. The BGAN 9202, the world's smallest class 2 BGAN, will also be on-site.
